The Competition Tribunal solved favorably an inquiry by Comisión Nacional de Energía (National Energy Commission, CNE), modifying a recommendation of Dictamen N° 992 of H. Comisión Preventiva Central, ordering DGA (Dirección General de Aguas, Water General Directive) to inform the National Prosecutor’s Office of any request and acquisition of water rights for hydroelectric energy presented to that institution, instead of abstaining of granting new rights, as the Dictamen stated.
