Ricardo Paredes Molina, Judge Economist

Ricardo Paredes holds his profesional degree in Economics from Universidad de Chile and earned his PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. From 1985 to 1998, he served as a professor at the School of Economics at Universidad de Chile and between 1998 and 2002 he assumed the role of Dean at that School. Since 2002 to 2015 was professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Universidad Católica de Chile and from 2015 to 2020 held the position of President at Duoc UC. He has authored over 50 papers and three books. In 2020 he was appointed as a Judge Economist of the TDLC.
